May 26th, 2013 - Garrett Alberson Has Busy Memorial Day Weekend Swing
1On Thursday evening Garrett Alberson entered his first-ever event at the state-of-the-art Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) as the young driver competed in the opening round of the 21st Annual Show Me 100, which saw seventy-three of the nation's top drivers battling for the $5,000 top prize in the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) sanctioned event.

With the pill draw determining heat race line ups Garrett was the recipient of the second starting spot for his heat, and went on to finish second to lock into the thirteenth starting spot for the 40 lap finale. In the feature he battled around mid-pack for much of the event before settling into a twenty-fourth place finish at the 3/8 mile oval. Full results from Thursday night's event are available at

On Friday evening qualifying and preliminary action was held for the $30,000-to-win, 21st Annual Lucas Oil Show Me 100, which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS). Seventy-two entries took to an extremely rough and heavy track, and Garrett would struggle in time trials, which left him starting tenth in his heat race. He would have to retire from his heat with an ill-handling car, which resulted in him starting on the tail of a b-main on Saturday night. He advanced to a fifteenth place finish in the b-main, which left him well short of transferring to the next event as his weekend came to an early end. Full results from the program are available at

1The team concluded their busy Memorial Day weekend on Sunday evening at 81 Speedway (Wichita, Kansas) with the season opener for the National Championship Racing Association (NCRA) Super Late Model season opener. Twenty cars entered the event at the clay oval, and after advancing from the fourth starting spot to a second place finish in his heat race Alberson went on to record a fourth place finish in the feature behind race winner, Ryan Gustin, Corey Zeitner, and Chase Junghans. May 18th, 2013 - Garrett Alberson Claims Runner-Up Finish at Tucson
1Garrett Alberson was back in action in his #43 Deetz Racing/Batteries Plus Bulbs/Mastersbilt into battle at Tucson International Raceway (Tucson, Arizona) in a Championship Dirt Motorsports National Tour event on Saturday night.

Fifteen Super Late Models registered a third place finish in his heat race before racing to a second place finish In the feature behind race winner, RC Whitwell.

May 13th, 2013 - Garrett Alberson Increases Win Streak to Six Events
Garrett Alberson piloted the #36 Deetz Racing/Batteries Plus Bulbs/Mastersbilt in a Weekly Racing Series Event at Tularosa Speedway (Tularosa, New Mexico) on Saturday night, and he made a clean sweep of the show by winning his heat race and the feature to increase his win streak to six wins. He's now in double digit wins for the season as well with ten victories!

May 4th, 2013 - Garrett Alberson Increases Win Tally by Two
1Garrett Alberson and Deetz Motorsports continued their 2013 season over the weekend with a pair of Weekly Racing Series Events in Texas and New Mexico in their #43 Deetz Racing/Batteries Plus Bulbs/Mastersbilt.

Racing action opened on Friday night at El Paso Speedway Park (El Paso, Texas), and the night began with a heat race win to position Alberson on the front row with Fito Gallardo. In the main event Alberson registered the win over Gallardo, Dave Deetz, Sherman Barnett, and Cliff Hansen. Full results from the event are available at

Saturday evening found the action shifting to Southern New Mexico Speedway (Las Cruces, New Mexico) for another Super Late Model event. With fifteen Super Late Models in the pit area Alberson started his night with a win in the first heat race, which for the second straight night locked him into the second starting spot for the feature alongside Fito Gallardo. As the feature went green Alberson jumped to the lead and went on to claim the victory over Fito Gallardo, Dave Deetz, Jonathon Ortega, and Scott Logston.

With the weekend wins Alberson now has nine victories on the season.
