September 28th, 2013 - Engine Issues Bite Alberson at Tucson
1Garrett Alberson made the trek to Tucson International Raceway (Tucson, Arizona) on Saturday night for a $1,200-to-win program with the Championship Dirt Motorsports (CDM) Super Late Model tour.

Garrett started his night by finishing 2nd in his heat race before racing to the win in the dash to lock into the pole position for the feature.

The team had high hopes for the finale, but bad luck would strike Alberson as he led the pack in his #43 Batteries Plus Bulbs/Mastersbilt Super Late Model in the event's early stages, when the motor abruptly expired forcing him to retire from the event.

September 21st, 2013 - Alberson Has Ups-And-Downs at Canyon
1Garrett Alberson's traveled to Canyon Speedway Park (Peoria, Arizona) over the weekend for a pair of events that was sanctioned by the West Coast Late Model Shootout and Southwest Dirt Racing Association.

On Friday evening a $1,200-to-win event was held at the facility as 19 entries registered for competition. The night started on a high note as Alberson won his heat race to lock into the redraw for the feature, where he was the recipient of the 6th starting spot. Early in the finale he had raced his way up into a transfer spot before the axle tube broke on his #43 Mastersbilt, forcing him to retire from the event to a disappointing 16th place finish.

For Saturday evening the team borrowed a rear end and prepared for battle in a $2,000-to-win affair. Nineteen entries returned to go to war in the Mr. Excitement 40, and Garrett enjoyed a great outing. He started his night by qualifying 2nd fastest before winning not only his heat race but also the dash. Via his dash performance Alberson started on the pole of the feature, and he would go on to race his way to a 2nd place finish behind race winner, Steve Drake.

September 7th, 2013 - Alberson Races to Trio of Weekend Wins

1Garrett Alberson's ever-growing 2013 win total changed again over the weekend as he won races in two different divisions to increase his victory tally to 19!

The weekend opened on Friday night at El Paso Speedway Park (El Paso, Texas), where Alberson returned to his roots with an outing in a Super Truck. Heat race action found him finishing 4th, but in the feature he raced to the win, which came over Kenny Alons, Donnie Newcomb, Sherman Barnett, and Nita Deetz. 1Saturday night found Garrett competing in a Championship Dirt Motorsports Weekly Racing Series Events in his #43 Deetz Racing/Batteries Plus Bulbs/Mastersbilt Super Late Model at Tularosa Speedway (Tularosa, New Mexico). Alberson enjoyed another great outing by screaming to the feature win, which came over Mercedes Abercrombie, Dave Deetz, Nita Deetz, and Jonathon Ortega. September 1st, 2013 - Garrett Alberson Finishes 2nd with CDM at Aztec
1 Garrett Alberson debuted his brand-new #43 Deetz Racing/Batteries Plus Bulbs/Mastersbilt into battle over the Labor Day weekend in a pair of Championship Dirt Motorsports (CDM) National Tour events at Aztec Speedway (Aztec, New Mexico).

Action opened on Friday night with a $1,500-to-win event at the clay oval that drew a talented field of 29 entries. After starting 2nd in his heat race Garrett charged to the win to earn a spot in the dash, where he finished in the 2nd spot to earn the 2nd starting position for the finale. Alberson challenged for the lead throughout the event before settling into a 2nd place finish behind race winner, RC Whitwell.

Saturday evening found the winner's purse increased to $2,500-to-win as 28 competitors returned for battle. Garrett charged from the 4th starting spot to the win in his heat race, and he finished 3rd in the dash to lock into the 3rd starting spot for the feature. Alberson had high hopes for the big finale, but unfortunately rain arrived before the race could be contested, forcing the remainder of the event to be canceled.
