April 19th, 2014 - Alberson Competes with NDRL at Magnolia
1Garrett Alberson and Deetz Motorsports continued their 2014 season over the weekend in a pair of events at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) with the National Dirt Racing League (NDRL).

Racing action opened on Friday night with a $7,500-to-win, and a field of forty-nine Super Late Models filled the pit area. Garrett was slated to start eighth in his preliminary heat race and advanced to a sixth place finish, but only the top three finishers would move on to the 40 lap finale, leaving him to run a b-main. Alberson would fail to reach a transfer position in the b-main, bringing his night to an early end.

The team had high hopes for Saturday night, as they looked to improve their performance with a $12,500 prize on the line. Another talented field of forty-six Super Late Model converged on the 3/8 mile oval, and after qualifying ninth in his group Alberson went on to a third place finish in the heat race, locking him into the tenth starting spot for the 60 lap feature. In the feature, Garrett battled the handle on his #43 Deetz Racing Super Late Model as he settled to a fifteenth place finish at the checkered flag.

April 12th, 2014 - Alberson Travels to Thunder Valley Speedway
1Garrett Alberson made the trek to Thunder Valley Speedway (Glenmora, Louisiana) on Saturday for a $3,000-to-win Super Late Model event.

Twenty-three entries were on hand for grand re-opening at the 1/4 mile semi-banked red clay oval. A heavy and rough track awaited competitors, and Garrett with a sixth to third run in the heat race to earn the seventh starting spot for the 50 lap finale. In the feature event Alberson advanced to fourth in his #43 Deetz Racing/Batteries Plus Bulbs/Mastersbilt before mechanical issues on lap seventeen would bring his night to an early end, resulting in a fourteenth place finish in the final rundown.

April 5th, 2014 - Alberson Wins at Southern New Mexico; Crafton Finishes Sixth
1Garrett returned to familiar territory on Saturday evening in a Championship Dirt Motorsports (CDM) Weekly Racing Series event at Southern New Mexico Speedway (Las Cruces, New Mexico).

Alberson started the night off by finishing second in his preliminary heat race, locking him into the fourth starting position for the main event. When the feature went green, Garrett took over the top spot early and built a comfortable lead out front. As he began to work lap traffic, contact with a lap car caused him to spin but was able to keep his momentum and retain the top spot. The hometown driver went on to claim the victory over Christy Georges, Rick Ortega, Eric Mcnutt, and Jeff Whyman.

Defending NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Champion Matt Crafton piloted a team in the weekly racing event as well. Crafton finished sixth in his heat race which earned him the twelfth starting spot for the feature. During the course of the main event, Matt advance six positions en route to a solid sixth place finish.
