Despite starting near the back of the pack, Garrett charged through the field to record a solid tenth place finish.

Saturday evening took Alberson to Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi). With twenty-four Super Late Models in the pit area, Garrett once again struggled in qualifying. 1Garrett Alberson and the team made the trek to Cedar Lake Speedway (New Richmond, Wisconsin) for the opening round of the 27th Annual USA Nationals on Thursday night.

Alberson piloted the #4 Roger Rister Racing/MasterSbilt Super Late Model, as a talented field of fifty-three entries registered for the $6,000-to-win, World of Outlaws (WoO) Late Model Series event. Garrett narrowly missed the transfer into the 40 lap feature via heat race action, sending him to a b-main. Unfortunately, a terminal failure in the b-main would bring his night to a disappointing early end.

On Friday night preliminary events for the $50,000-to-win finale were contested. Garrett struggled in qualifying and heat race action, sending him to a b-main on Saturday. In the b-main Alberson continued to battle the setup on his entry, ultimately failing to reach a transfer position to the 100 lap feature as his night came to early end.
