September 29, 2018 - 10th Place Finish in Dixie Shootout at Dixie Speedway
1 On Friday night Garrett Alberson and Black Diamond Race Cars team visited the Peach State for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS). In a field of 44 cars at Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) for the Dixie Shootout, Pearson Jr. posted a 10th place finish in the 50-lap affair.

The following night at Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia) for the Rome Showdown, Pearson Jr. suffered a flat-tire late in the feature that dropped him back to a 16th place outing.

September 23, 2018 - Pearson Jr. Records 7th Place Finish in Jackson 100 at Brownstown Speedway
1Garrett Alberson and the Black Diamond Race Cars team traveled to Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana) on Friday night following the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) for the Jackson 100. Earl Pearson Jr. followed up fifth fastest time in his qualifying group on Friday with a 5th place finish in his heat in his heat on Sunday. Charging to a 12-lap consolation victory, Earl earned the 18th-starting position for the $20,000-to-win A-Main. Breaking into the Top-10, Pearson Jr. improved 11 spots in the 100-lapper to place 7th.

The Louisiana native entered a handful of events behind the wheel of a racecar to start the 2018 season before putting his driving career on hold to be a crew member on the Black Diamond Race Cars House Car. The #1 Super Late Model entry is piloted by four-time Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) Champion, Earl Pearson Jr.

The team has enjoyed great success thus far into the 2018 season with six wins including the $202,939.50 payday in the inaugural Dirt Million at Mansfield Motor Speedway (Mansfield, Ohio).
