January 19, 2020 - 9th Place Finish in Wild West Shootout Finale at Arizona Speedway
1For the third round of the Wild West Shootout on Wednesday night at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Arizona), Garrett Alberson followed up the fastest lap in his time trial group with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Jimmy Mars. Starting the $5,000-to-win A-Main in seventh, Alberson suffered a broken motor on lap 11 that forced him to retire early.

Returning on Friday evening, Alberson secured his spot into the A-Main with a 3rd place finish in his heat race. With $5,000 on the line, Garrett dropped seven spots in the 30-lap affair to record a 17th place outing.

The following night, Garrett came in second fastest in his time trial group behind Ricky Weiss before placing 3rd in his heat. Starting the $5,000-to-win A-Main in ninth, Alberson was running in 12th with eight-laps remaining when he suffered a broken driveshaft.

1Wrapping up the 14th annual Wild West Shootout on Sunday afternoon, Alberson posted a 7th place finish in his heat transferring him into the B-Main for one final shot at the $15,000-to-win finale. January 12, 2020 - Top 10 Finish to Open Wild West Shootout in Arizona
1On Saturday night Garrett Alberson returned to action at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Arizona) behind the wheel of the No. 2a Super Late Model for the 14th annual Wild West Shootout. In a stout field of 46 cars, Alberson fell one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 4th place finish. Coming in 2nd in his B-Main behind Justin Duty, Garrett locked into the 22nd-starting position for the opening night feature. Wheeling his way into the Top-10, Garrett Alberson passed 12 cars in the 30-lap affair to place 10th.

Following the fourth fastest lap in his time trial group on Sunday, Garrett grabbed the 3rd and final transfer spot in his heat which positioned him 12th on the starting grid for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. Losing one spot in the 40-lap affair, Alberson posted a 13th place outing.

January 5, 2020 - 11th Place Finish in Battle at the Border Finale at Vado Speedway Park
1Bringing the 2020 season to life, Garrett Alberson invaded Vado Speedway Park (Vado, New Mexico) on Friday evening piloting the Dave Deetz-owned No. 01 Late Model entry for the inaugural Battle at the Border. Drawing 42 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries for the three-day event, Alberson passed three cars in his heat to reel in a 7th place finish. Needing a 3rd place finish or better in his B-Main to make the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Garrett fell two spots short with a 5th place finish.

For the final night of the Battle at the Border on Sunday, Garrett followed up a 5th place finish in his heat with a 2nd place spot in his B-Main behind Kody Evans. Starting the $15,000-to-win finale in 20th, Alberson advanced through the field nine positions to register an 11th place finish.
