Drawing a stout field of 56 Castrol FloRacing Night in America mini-series entries, Alberson came one spot short of a transfer position in his heat race, sending him into the B-Main. Transferring the top-three into the opening night feature, Garrett recorded a sixth-place outing.

For another $22,022-to-win A-Main on Thursday at Lincoln Speedway (Lincoln, Ill.), Garrett laid down the fastest time in his group before picking up a heat race win. Starting on the pole for the feature, Alberson dropped two spots in the 50-lap affair to register a third-place finish. He trailed Dennis Erb Jr. and Brandon Sheppard to the checkers.

On Friday evening at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Ill.) for the MARS Racing Series-sanctioned Farmer City 74 presented by Douglas Dodge, Alberson edged his way into the main event with the third-and-final transfer spot in his heat. With $15,000 on the line, Garrett inched forward five spots in the 50-lapper to finish 11th.

For the weekend finale on Saturday, Garrett headed to Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) for the Titan Industries FALS Spring Shootout. With a third-place finish in his heat race placing him on the seventh row for the $30,000-to-win A-Main, Alberson tagged the wall while running in 10th with three laps remaining that sent him pitside. He salvaged a 14th-place outing.
